Motel Facilities Questions
Where do I park my vehicle?
Every apartment has one designated free park generally outside the apartment.
If I bring my boat can I have off street parking?
Yes we have extra parks for trailers and boats etc.
Do you have a guest laundry?
We have a coin and regular machines available and use of small dryer or on request commercial dryer.
If I bring my bike do you have secure storage?
Yes, we can store up to 20 bikes in lockup storage.
Do you have tools for bike repair/service/build?
Yes, we also provide tools for maintenance
Do you have a wash down area to wash bikes etc?
Yes we have a place where you can wash down your gear.
Do you have stairs and lifts at your Motel?
All our apartments are on ground level with car parking directly outside most units.
Do you have a heated pool and if so what temperature is it?
Yes we do have a heated pool and we vary the temperature according to the season. 35 degrees Celsius in winter and around 31-33 degrees in the summer.
Are your spa pools hot and how long do I need to wait for them to heat up?
Our spa pools are set at at 39 degrees Celsius They are recirculated 24 hours/day through our geothermal heat exchange so they are always hot.
Do I have to pay extra for the pool and spas?
No, the pools are available to all guests free of charge.
Do you have designated smoking rooms?
No, all our apartments are non-smoking. However there are seats and ash pots outside the apartments where you may smoke.
Can I have guests visit me in my room?
You may have guests visit, however their cars must be parked on the roadside and they must leave by 10pm.

Can I walk to the City Centre?
Yes, it is a flat walk of 1.5 to 2 kilometres to the City Centre. (See our map).
If I come into Rotorua by bus how do I get to your Motel?
All you need to do is let us know the time of your arrival.
Is there a supermarket near by?
Yes, there are two large supermarkets approx. 15 minutes walking distance.
Is there a bus service?
Yes, there is a regular bus that does a circuit around the district and City Centre. The bus stop is five minutes walk away.

Activities
How far are you from the main tourist attractions?
There are many attractions in the Rotorua Area, some are many kilometers out of town. We are within walking distance of Te Puia, Lake Rotorua, Redwood Forest, Whakarewarewa, Government Garden, Polynesian Pools and others. Check our special attractions Map.
Do I need to book attractions in Rotorua?
It is advisable to book some attractions in the summer. The best way is to book everything from the motel when you arrive - that way you can be sure you are getting the best service and if there is a "pick up" service we will ensure the attraction has the correct motel.
Can you give us advice in regards to activities in Rotorua?
Yes we have an extensive brochure stand and our Office staff can give you good advice in regards to activities.
We also have discount vouchers and can even get tickets for you for some of the activities.
Do you know of a good fishing / hunting guide?
Yes we do - and we can get the best deals for either. Email us with your requirements and we will sort something out for you. YOU MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE TO GET THE BEST.
Advance Bookings
Can you book our advance accommodation?
We have many contacts in the motel business and we can certainly do you onward bookings. We will need your email authority to give the accommodation providers you credit card number.
